Overview

Supports a range of administrative functions for a department or business unit. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and optimize the performance of business operations by investigating operational processes and procedures to determine feasible and effective solutions. Assists the subject matter expert or lead on projects regarding business functions, systems, policies and/or procedures. Requires an understanding of the department's or business unit's operations, along with basic knowledge of general bank policies, programs, and financial/accounting practices. May assist in workflow activities.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • The ability to analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements
  • Effective communication is crucial for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting procedures
  • Analyze existing procedures and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist in the development and implementation of streamlined processes
  • Maintain accurate process documentation to ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations
  • Work closely with department teammates and heads to align processes with business goals
  • Facilitate communication between teams
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience within the financial industry
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex issues both verbally and in writing
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to details
  • Advanced skill following, interpreting, and applying relevant data/instructions to guidelines, procedures, practices, and regulations
  • Experience in working effectively with diverse teams and other lines of business
  • Significant experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
  • Ability to work independently on multiple issues concurrently and to exercise independent judgment in establishing priorities

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communication, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
  • Working knowledge of BSA/AML regulations within the financial industry
  • Working knowledge of other US banking guidelines and regulations
  • Working knowledge of operational and regulatory risk control concepts and practices
  • Advanced word processing and spreadsheet software skills
  • Advanced database and presentation software skills

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
