The Solution Delivery Manager will oversee the successful deployment and integration of the AlixPartners Global Trade Optimizer (GTO) platform across multiple client instances. This multifaceted role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and project management skills to ensure the seamless implementation of the platform, while meeting client specific needs and driving long-term business value to the platform. The Solution Delivery Manager will act as a key liaison between business and technical teams, coordinating integrations, ensuring smooth execution of platform customizations, and fostering strong client relationships from a technical perspective. Additionally, this role will actively contribute to platform development, ensuring continuous improvement based on client feedback, consultants' usage and evolving business needs. This role has a significant impact on product revenue, growth, and customer retention & satisfaction. It involves influencing internal and external stakeholders, with potential for building and growing a team of implementation / professional services consultants. As the team grows, this role will evolve into a leadership or specialization path-focusing on implementation delivery, client relationship and solution strategy, or deep technical solution delivery & enablement. Key Responsibilities: Platform Client Implementation & Integration:
- Lead Successful Implementation: Drive the deployment of the AlixPartners platform across multiple clients, ensuring the solution aligns with specific client needs, business objectives, and timelines.Define and manage project scope, milestones, budget, and resources while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Architecture Assessment: Understand and evaluate the client's existing infrastructure to assess how the platform will integrate and define a tailored integration strategy.
- Data Integration: Develop and execute seamless integration plans for continuous and automated data flow between client systems and the platform.Manage data validation and testing to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
- Client Resource Integration: Manage the integration of client resources such as user provisioning, email systems, and any other client-specific services to ensure alignment with the platform.
- Support Complex Sales Cycles: Collaborate with pursuit teams and consulting leaders on complex sales cycles by helping deliver custom demonstrations, validating technical feasibility, developing implementation estimates, and presenting project approaches to clients. Help shape SOWs and contribute to client pitches as needed.
- Ad-Hoc Data Requests: Respond to ad-hoc data-related requests from the project team, ensuring quick resolution with a focus on accuracy and alignment to project goalsand timelines.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the primary liaison between offshore business and development teams and onsite consultants or client users to ensure clear communication and efficient execution.
- Customization & Client Needs: Identify client-specific needs, guiding the customization of the platform to enhance functionality and meet unique requirements, ensuring proper documentation for customizations to enable future support, productization, and scalability.
- Continuously Enhance Platform Implementation Methodology:Develop and maintain project documentation, including solution designs, integration plans, and lessons learned to support scalability and knowledge sharing.Mentor junior implementation team members and contribute to the development of best practices and delivery standards for platform implementations.
Platform Development:
- Platform Evolution: Leverage client insights and feedback to help evolve the platform, contributing enhancements that can be reused across multiple clients.
- Industry Expertise: Utilize a high-level understanding of supply chain and SPT (Supply Planning and Transformation) business processes across industries to craft tailored solutions.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders and the technical team, balancing technical feasibility with business value and delivery timelines.
- Innovative Problem Solving: Propose and implement innovative, simplified solutions that optimize processes, reduce complexity, and achieve cost-effective results.
- Lead UAT Process: Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that developed modules meet client specifications, industry standards, and functional requirements prior to full-scale deployment.Collaborate with development and QA teams to address issues identified during testing.
- Continuous Improvement & Feedback Loop: Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform by collecting feedback from clients, internal teams, and industry trends, ensuring the platform evolves to meet future market needs.
- Focus on Sustainable Customer Success: Ensure implementation of business and performance value KPIs / reports to track customer value realization and usage metrics. Support the post-implementation phase by monitoring client performance, ensuring sustained adoption, providing support for customer issues, and identifying opportunities for process or product improvements or future scope / project expansions at clients.
What you'll need:
- 5+ years in Professional Services, Implementation Consulting, Solutions Consulting, Management Consulting, or a related role.
- Experience in enterprise software, SaaS, consulting, or supply chain transformation.
- Expertise in one or more of the following: supply chain, global trade, logistics, procurement, AI/ML-driven solutions.
- Strong executive presence with a track record of engaging C-level stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce), analytics tools (Power BI), and enterprise software solutions.
- Ability to travel up to 50% (if required for customer meetings, workshops, or industry events).
- Customer-first mindset with a passion for enabling business success through technology.
- Strong technical aptitude in supply chain, logistics, global trade, or enterprise SaaS.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, capable of engaging both executive leaders and technical teams.
- Ability to balance solution consulting, relationship management, and data-driven insights.
- Comfortable working across pre-sales and post-sales, ensuring a consistent and value-driven customer experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, and in particular as unique projects/needs arise.
- Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday
