Overview

The Senior LiDAR Analyst is pivotal in post-processing aerial and terrestrial data, delivering high-quality outputs for civil engineering, land surveying, and critical infrastructure projects. This role assists the team of data technicians with day-to-day activities while mentoring junior staff to promote excellence. Committed to accuracy, the Senior LiDAR Analyst ensures reliable deliverables from advanced LiDAR and imagery data, tackles technical challenges, and maintains rigorous quality control. Collaborating closely with Remote Sensing Project Leads and stakeholders, this position drives successful project execution and upholds our reputation for excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Geospatial Leadership and Project Leads to meet project expectations.
  • Perform post-processing procedures according to internal guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Create final deliverables based on project scope for various markets ready for the client as final deliverables.
  • Assist the Project Lead in managing technicians and workloads.
  • Assist with data management and archiving.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of technicians
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for geospatial deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a related field (e.g., geomatics, surveying, remote sensing).
  • Minimum 3+ years in a senior technical role.
  • ASPRS certifications highly desired.
  • Strong understanding of LiDAR and remote sensing principles and data processing.
  • Proficiency in using Remote Sensing software and tools, such as TerraSolid, GeoCue, TopoDOT, MetaShape, Photoshop, and PLS-CADD.
  • In-depth knowledge of coordinate systems and projections.
  • Industry experience in civil, power generation and delivery, DOT, and renewables.
  • Scripting and light programming knowledge to support automation.
  • Familiarity with surveying techniques and equipment for project control understanding.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
