Position Purpose The SVP, Growth Officer is responsible for designing and executing the Company's national growth strategy. This role is responsible for designing, leading managing Windsor's Business Development team to drive revenue growth across three strategic pillars: (1) originating loan opportunities; (2) expanding Windsor's Lender Service Provider (LSP) client base and Lender service offerings (i.e. Lenders); and (3) developing strategic partnerships and reseller relationships. The Growth Officer serves as the external "face" of Windsor. The role works together with the marketing function to broaden the Windsor brand and is key in identifying new areas for expansion.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and manage Windsor's business development teams to meet and exceed revenue growth targets and ensures that the team is performing optimally.
- Establish and monitor KPIs tied to loan originations, new lender acquisition, and strategic partnership performance.
- Develop and execute a scalable growth plan in collaboration with marketing, origination, credit, processing, operations, and executive teams.
- Identify and acquire new lender clients for Windsor's outsourced SBA LSP services, including banks, credit unions, and non-bank lenders.
- Drive SBA loan placement volume by strengthening Windsor's presence among loan referral sources, marketplaces, and originators.
- Source, evaluate, and lead execution of partnership opportunities that generate new loan flow or distribution channels.
- Represent Windsor Advantage at industry events, conferences, and in high-level sales discussions.
- Negotiates pricing and deal structures with customers and oversees the same for the business development team.
- Provide regular reporting and insight on sales activities, results, and market trends to the executive team.
- Champion the use of CRM and sales technology to manage pipeline, forecast performance, and support accountability.
- Foster a performance-driven culture across the sales organization.
- Mentors and coaches direct reports within the team.
- Manages performance of the team and conducts performance reviews within the processes of the Bank.
Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial services or software, including experience in sales leadership, strategic growth, or business development.
- Proven track record in leading and scaling sales teams in a high-growth B2B environment.
- Experience in SBA lending, fintech, or outsourced banking services strongly preferred.
- Experience structuring complex deals and partnership agreements.
- Previous supervisory experience.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
- Strong knowledge of financial services industry - SBA lending a plus - and third-party service models.
- Familiarity with revenue forecasting, KPI analysis, and territory planning.
- Ability to lead through influence, coach performance, and drive results across distributed teams.
- Ability to coach, mentor, develop and lead a team of experienced professionals.
- Collaborative and cooperative approach, able to communicate and determine priorities
- Proficient with CRM and pipeline management tools
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and Outlook is a must.
Working Arrangements
- This is a 100% remote role.
- Hybrid work opportunities available for those open to working within the Chicago, IL office location.
- Must have the ability to travel as needed to office locations, meet clients and prospects, and attend events.
Compensation:
- Base Salary Range: Final determination of where you are at in the salary range is based on numerous factors such as relevant experience, skill set, education, and ability to meet qualifications within the job description.
- Additional Compensation: This role will participate in a lucrative incentive plan with payout based on your ability to meet assigned goals.
