The Opportunity/Position Description The Department of Pediatrics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is seeking applicants who are Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics and/or Pediatric Hospital Medicine to join our dynamic and accomplished Pediatric Hospital Medicine faculty within the Division of Critical Care, Hospital, and Palliative Medicine. We are recruiting a talented and enthusiastic academic hospitalist at the academic rank of Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. Columbia University Irving Medical Center, is one of the nation's foremost academic health science centers is aligned with one of the nation's premier health systems, New York-Presbyterian Hospital to provide outstanding care to patients and communities. Our hospital provides care to a variety of complex and subspecialty patients with high acuity and also serves as the community hospital for Northern Manhattan and South Bronx. We are particularly interested in candidates with quality improvement training/experience and/or interest in clinical leadership. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
