THE HIGH LEVEL The candidate will serve as the Iron Bow representative on various Cyber Security and Disaster Recovery comities for the VITA program. Daily duties include vulnerability management, disaster recovery, security baseline, and audit activities. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Represents Iron Bow on several Cyber Security and Disaster Recovery committees such as ITSCM DRWG - Operations, ISOAG, Tower Security, Governance Forum: Cyber Security Operations, Cyber Security Operations, Governance Forum, Baseline Hardening Standards, and ITSCM Governance. Responsible for creating and/or updating operating system and software security baselines that are applied against workstations used to protect Commonwealth of Virginia's security posture The baselines include Microsoft Edge Chromium, Google Chrome, Windows 11, Apple iOS 16, MacOS Ventura, MacOS Sonoma, WCS EUC Hybrid Azure AD, Kiosk MS Office, MacOS Google Chrome, Windows 10, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Perform vulnerability management, disaster recovery and audit activities throughout the year Serve as a lead for various regulatory and industry standard audits on the VITA program including leading the engagement for Iron Bow's annual Penetration Tests, VITA's Annual Integrated DR Exercise, VITA Annual Disaster Recovery Tabletop exercise Responsible for key security documentation including System Security Plan (SSP) and Annual Security Plan (ASP). WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE You enjoy working in a team environment with other highly skilled engineers You enjoy the challenge of securing networks in today's fast paced IT environment Must have 5+ years of related Information Security experience to be considered Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (OR an equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience) is required Candidates should possess an active Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP) certification Physical Job Requirements: This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time and to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors Candidates must be able to obtain a VITA DOC level clearance (US Citizenship required) WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT!
