We're seeking an exceptional leader to join our dynamic Enterprise Service team as a Region Manager, On-site Service. You'll have the opportunity to manage a talented team of On-site Endoscopic Specialists, delivering top-notch support to our customers in the West Coast Region. As a key member of our team, you'll drive success, inspire innovation, and make a lasting impact on our customers.

Reporting to the Director/Area Manager of On-site Service and Operations, you'll be responsible for managing a team that delivers exceptional onsite service support to contracted KARL STORZ customers. You'll assist the team in providing best-in-class onsite support, ensuring maximum value to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of On-site Endoscopic Specialists (OES's), supporting direct reports by providing opportunities for growth and developmental experiences
  • Execute effective and timely performance management, fostering an environment of information sharing and best practices
  • Identify, develop, and train staff on potential new service programs, inspiring others to excel through a commonly shared vision
  • Develop strong relationships with KSEA functional areas (Sales, Finance, Service, Operations, Corporate Accounts, and Marketing)
  • Present a strong, professional image of self and KSEA during interactions with customers
  • Monitor OES daily activity, ensuring maximum value to customers by educating and training staff in surgical instrumentation care and handling practices
  • Collaborate with Sales Executives to improve customer experience, identify new opportunities, and develop Scope of Service documents for each customer site
  • Communicate customer pain points, provide feasible proposals for improvement, and observe, collect, and communicate key data on competitive accounts

Requirements:

  • A minimum education level of a bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in medical repair or sales, preferably in a surgical technology, central sterile processing, or nursing role
  • Knowledge of service-related call-points (Central Processing Dept, Operating Room, and Bio-Med)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, with excellence in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time, including overnight stays, and work in the perioperative arena with exposure to sounds, sights, and smells

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce experience
  • Prior experience leading high-performing teams, ideally in a service-oriented industry
  • Experience working with other people leaders throughout the company on organization-wide projects

Essential Functions:

  • Works independently, making effective decisions while taking general direction from leadership
  • Prioritizes work and schedules activities to maximize effectiveness and support sales goals
  • Manages team projects, develops and manages cost center annual budget (OPEX), and ensures full compliance and legal approvals
  • Guides and mentors direct reports, protects employee confidentiality, and maintains productive working relationships
