As one of our valued Information Technology Specialist I's, your primary responsibility is to respond to help desk tickets and provide end-user support in a helpful and pleasant manner, either face-to-face or via telephone or video. This position includes occasional travel to various project sites to set up IT services as new construction projects start up.

What You Will Do:

As an IT Specialist I, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:



  • Primary first-level enterprise helpdesk technical support.
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including Windows operating system across a range of software applications.
  • Provide local IT support which includes setting up PCs, troubleshooting PC issues, assistance with printers and copy machines, phones, local office networking equipment, and video conferencing equipment.
  • Provide support to project site offices, involving setting up Internet, PCs, printers/copiers, phones, network/Wi-Fi, basic cabling, webcams, etc., with limited supervision.
  • Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary.
  • Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT help desk system
  • Install and configure new IT equipment.
  • Maintain a first-class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner.
  • Track IT Equipment and Logistics inventory.
  • Assist with new user setup and maintenance.
  • Processing and deploying Windows 10/11
  • Re-imaging Windows 11 onto machines from Windows 10
  • Write and maintain departmental documentation.
  • Complete assigned and required training for this role.


What You Will Bring to the Team:

Required experience, knowledge, and skills for this role include (Must Haves):



  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information System or a degree in a related field.
  • Minimum one (1) year of work experience in a related field.
  • Or Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience.

  • Proficient with the Windows operating system and the entire Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to and prioritize daily workload and meet timelines on deliverables.
  • Ability to prioritize and administer multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and issue resolution.
  • Motivated, committed, and energetic self-starter that's dedicated to providing high-quality and responsive IT service.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

The position will be conducted in a temperature-controlled professional office environment, with moderate noise. The role will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this role the employee is regularly required to talk, listen, sit, walk, reach, kneel, stoop, crouch, use hands and fingers to handle or feel and to operate a computer and telephone keyboard, and maintain visual acuity. The employee may occasionally be required to lift and or carry lightweight objects under 20 pounds. The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
