The Christman Company is looking for an IT Specialist I in our Lansing, MI region. As one of our valued Information Technology Specialist I's, your primary responsibility is to respond to help desk tickets and provide end-user support in a helpful and pleasant manner, either face-to-face or via telephone or video. This position includes occasional travel to various project sites to set up IT services as new construction projects start up. Work Environment and Physical Demands: The position will be conducted in a temperature-controlled professional office environment, with moderate noise. The role will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this role the employee is regularly required to talk, listen, sit, walk, reach, kneel, stoop, crouch, use hands and fingers to handle or feel and to operate a computer and telephone keyboard, and maintain visual acuity. The employee may occasionally be required to lift and or carry lightweight objects under 20 pounds.
