CONTACTS (Internal and External): Interacts extensively with all manufacturing personnel, with other functional areas within the Business Unit, and external vendors. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
A high level of analytical ability is required to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Spare parts management experience, ideally with operational CMMS inventory system. Working knowledge of Maintenance repair procedures related to evaluation of MRO components to determine the most economical means of repair or replacement. Strong electrical, mechanical and problem-solving skills. Must be proficient with computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database software. Excellent verbal and written skills required. Must have high level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and present information to suppliers, management, employees, and co-workers. Experience: Must be able to read and understand electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematics and apply them to repair equipment and to order necessary parts. Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, PLC, and relay logic controls. Supervision: Reports to Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Manager for job assignments and instructions. Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Responsibility: Exercises High degree of judgment. Questionable matters referred to the Maintenance Manager for assistance.
