Work Schedule: 80% FTE, night shift. Friday 11:00PM - 7:00AM, Saturday 7:00PM - 7:00AM, Sunday 7:00PM - 7:00AM. Holidays and call required; dayshift hours with PM shift as needed. You may work at other UW sites within Madison, on an as needed basis. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay: A competitive starting pay based on relevant work experience. This position also includes a night differential. You may be eligible for a $4,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE).

- Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, abdominal, small parts and routine vascular examinations and may perform more complex imaging.
- Perform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups.
- Work at a variety of locations, including a Level 1 Trauma Center, critical care facility and several clinics in the Madison area.
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited ultrasonography program and/or registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Required
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Preferred
Work Experience
- Previous healthcare experience Required
- 2 years of clinical experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) in a minimum of two concentrations: Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast or Pediatric Sonography or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Upon Hire Required
- RVT credential, if not already acquired, or Minimum Qualifications Substitute (MQS) if in OBGYN department within 30 months Required
- CPR certification within 3 months Required
- Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations listed above and RVT Preferred
