Job Title: Member Service Representative (MSR)
Job Description This role involves responding to inquiries and requests from members and other individuals within a 24/7 high volume, schedule-driven, and structured contact center operation. The representative will provide information regarding the company's products and services, demonstrating knowledge, active listening, multiple system adaptability, and engagement methods to ensure optimal member experience and customer service. Transactions related to savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs, and other accounts will be performed. Additionally, the representative will advise members on other products and services that may fit their needs, fostering opportunities for positive member interaction. Responsibilities * Respond to member inquiries and requests in a high-volume contact center. * Provide information about products and services with active listening and engagement. * Perform transactions for savings, checking, consumer loans, credit cards, IRAs, and other accounts. * Advise members on products and services that meet their needs. * Ensure policy compliance and adapt to a structured environment. Essential Skills * Customer service expertise * Proficiency in data entry * Experience with inbound and outbound calls * Adaptability to call center operations * Ability to handle high-volume calls * Compliance with policies in a structured environment Additional Skills & Qualifications * Experience in call center, administrative, secretary/receptionist roles * Background in banking/mortgage, professional or high-volume retail environments Why Work Here? Work Environment These are remote opportunities, and candidates must live within 60 miles of Suite 250, Virginia Beach, VA. The Contact Center operates 24/7/365, providing service to members worldwide. Shifts are flexible, with scheduled breaks and meals, and require availability for a 9.5-hour day to accommodate start and end time variations. Be prepared to handle back-to-back calls, with possible call durations of up to four hours before a break. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
