Job Summary

Moultrie is looking to add an InfoSec Engineer to itssoftware team. This position will be focused on monitoring, managing and securing our Azure cloud environment in coordination with the backend development and DevOps teams.

Job Responsibilities

* Daily monitoring of cloud health/performance/security metrics

* Managing proactive alerts to help identify issues early

* Coordinate updates and improvements to cloud resources

* Develop and execute both short and long term cloud improvement projects

* Remain up to date on the latest security exploits and attack vectors in order to evaluate against our systems

* Monitor, optimize and project cloud costs

* Drive security awareness and evaluation earlier in the development lifecycle

* Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required

* Secure business applications and computing environments across public, private or hybrid cloud infrastructures.

* Work on and track multiple projects

* Educate software team members on cloud operation and security

* Incident response tracking, including monitoring security alerts, and investigating incidents

* Open, track and research support tickets with vendors

Job Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field (or equivalent years' work experience)

* Minimum of 1 year of experience operating systems in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS or GCP)

* Minimum of 1 year of experience securing applications or cloud systems

* Scripting and code automation experience (PowerShell, bash, python)

Essential Job Function

* Azure cloud experience

* Experience and skills in establishing and improving metric-based processes

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Familiarity with incident response tracking, including monitoring security alerts, and investigating incidents

* Ability to work in fast paced environment, balance priorities and juggle multiple tasks at once

* Network+ Certification

* Security+ Certification

* Azure Certifications
