Purpose of role

As an & Other Stories Visual Ambassador, you'll play a pivotal role in curating an excellent customer journey within the store. In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to elevate the collection in a way that's both inspiring and commercially savvy, aimed at maximizing both indirect and direct customer service while driving sales performance to new heights. You work collaboratively, while overseeing and owning all functions within your department(s). Who You'll Work With: * This role works cross-functionally with the retail, visual merchandising, omni merchandising, and area support teams. * This role reports to the Store Manager with a dotted line to the Visual Merchandising Manager. * This role is based out of New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities | What You'll Do:

• You will offer customers a high level of service through styling advice, product knowledge and store experience
• You will analyze selling information and take responsibility for the visual direction of the store
• You will lead VM initiatives by installing window displays, creating inspiring outfits, and styling mannequins
• You will ensure garment presentation and care is executed and consistent throughout the store, per brand guidelines.
• You will plan and execute campaign set-ups, concept upkeep, activities, and promotions.
• You will merchandise stock on the shop floor as per company directives and feedback
• You will support the sales staff with store operations/routines and be responsible for the maintenance of the visual room.
• You will set the visual merchandising standard for the store and be ready to collaborate and train the store team on new initiatives/products.
• You will lead by example. You will be a brand ambassador and provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers to maximize sales.

Competences | Who You Are:

• You have at least 1 years of experience in visual merchandising, with a strong understanding of fashion trends, silhouettes, and styling techniques.
• You've worked confidently with visual guidelines, including window displays, mannequin styling, and in-store activations, and you know how to translate commercial KPIs into impactful visual decisions.
• You're passionate about fashion and motivated by creating inspiring, customer-focused environments that drive engagement and sales.
• You're collaborative, communicative, and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on retail setting.
• You're organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high visual standards.
• You're a self-starter who takes the initiative, adapts quickly to change, and is always looking for ways to improve the customer experience through visual storytelling.
• You're comfortable giving and receiving feedback, and you bring a growth mindset to your work and your team.
• You're physically able to meet the demands of the role, including: lifting over 20 pounds, standing for extended periods, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull, and carry items (mannequins, clothing, totes, torsos, etc.) for a short distance, safely climbing ladders, and managing props and display materials as needed.
• You're able to work flexible and extended hours at times, with a willingness to travel to support other stores.

Compensation: Expected base salary range is $ 19.67- $ 21.63 hourly**
