The Lead Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying key growth opportunities that support the strategic growth initiatives. The scope of this job includes developing and executing strategic plans to achieve growth objectives by utilizing a significant amount of cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and create business cases for new revenue channels based on market analysis, including client suitability, financial reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Create and implement operational metrics to evaluate the success and effectiveness of new growth strategies, monitor them regularly, and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the business unit's strategic direction and develop strategies for initiatives aimed at expanding WellSky's client portfolio and revenue growth potential.
  • Drive the execution of business development plans, actively monitor progress and key performance metrics, and ensure objectives are met by making adjustments based on real-time market conditions and outcomes.
  • Navigate market trends that will impact current or new solutions, offer suggestions for improvement on the solution that will meet client needs, and partner with marketing, sales and solution teams on go-to-market strategies for new solution releases.
  • Inform the build, buy, and partner decision-making process in order to identify the overall impact of each option and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 12-15 years of relevant work experience

Job Expectations:

  • Willing to travel up to 50% based on business needs
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed
  • Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information
  • Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
