MuleSoft, the industry-leading Integration and API management platform, empowers enterprises globally to unlock data and accelerate innovation. We are seeking an exceptional Product Manager or Senior Product Manager to join our Identity team at MuleSoft. In this role, you would lead teams to help solve the most important and complex issues our internal partners and external customers face with authentication & identity management.

You will also take a key role in building the next generation of the MuleSoft platform - extending MuleSoft's MuleSoft's integration capabilities with the Salesforce ecosystem, leveraging Agentforce, Tableau, and Slack to enhance our industry leading experience. You will collaborate closely with product managers across MuleSoft and Salesforce to drive interoperability between the two platforms.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, UX/UI, sales, and customer support to deliver prioritize and deliver the most important identity investments for the MuleSoft Anypoint platform

  • Own and drive aspects of your product area from idea creation to delivery and adoption.

  • Develop comprehensive product requirements, user stories, and prototypes to effectively guide engineering teams toward successful outcomes.

  • Strategically contribute to the broader MuleSoft and Salesforce interoperable platform vision, ensuring alignment and cohesive product strategies across Salesforce's diverse product lines.

  • Drive a roadmap that continues to power our MuleSoft and Salesforce products for Identity that changes and iterates based on their end user needs

  • Engage directly with sales and customer support teams to deeply understand customer challenges related to MuleSoft integrations and translate these insights into impactful product improvements.

Requirements

  • Highly technical

    • Having deep dives with Architects & ICs not only doesn't scare you, it invigorates you!

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

    • You can synthesize and articulate highly technical concepts to individuals without context and get alignment easily

  • Excellent Collaborator

    • You can work among multiple teams, understand their use cases, and where they fit with our platform and identity strategy

  • Detail-oriented & pragmatic

    • Inconsistencies annoy you. You align people to the truth even if it can be hard and make sure we meet our deadlines with the right solution.

    • You can balance trust and customer success both for external and internal consumers

  • Proactive & an agent of change

    • You don't wait for things to happen. You see where improvement can happen and you lead others with results and empathy.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    • The ability to context switch with minimal loss in productivity is key. The problems we face every week are vastly different

  • Direct experience with agile/scrum methodologies.

  • 5+ years of experience in the tech industry, 4+ years of Product Management experience.

  • Bachelor's degree.

Desired Skillset

  • Experience working on a platform is strongly desired. Experience with Identity/Tenancy highly preferred.

  • You have knowledge of concepts around security, identity, building for multi-tenant platforms

    • Topics include: open identity standards (OAuth, OIDC, SAML), security (encryption esp. with more usage of MTLS), public cloud based microservice infrastructure

  • Direct experience with MuleSoft Anypoint platform or other integration and API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Boomi).

  • Familiarity with API management best practices, Mule SDLC processes, and integration design principles.

  • Knowledge of enterprise SaaS environments, CRM platforms, and data integration strategies.
