Job Summary: The Sales Process & Technology teams are responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of business processes and technology solutions across multiple sales acquisition channels and operations teams. Working closely with sales leadership, internal stakeholders, sales partners, and third-party vendors, the team drives best-in-class experiences that improve performance and reduce inefficiencies. The Sales Process & Technology Senior Analyst provides technical and process support to either sales channels or sales operations teams. This role identifies improvement opportunities and delivers innovative solutions that reduce costs, improve the customer experience, and increase sales. Key responsibilities include process mapping, technical documentation, API integration support, and end-to-end project execution. This role serves as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring seamless onboarding of vendors, system alignment, and optimization of sales performance across the Face-to-Face and Online Affiliate channels. This position supports both Texas USA and Alberta CA markets for NRG. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Document processes, including flow maps, to level set & understand end to end processes.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, and align on technical solutions.
- Serve as subject matter expert on internal and external systems, tools, and processes.
- Lead and manage small to mid-sized process improvement projects through all lifecycle phases: design, development, testing, launch, and warranty.
- Support the launch of new vendors, technologies, products, and processes.
- Maintain external API documentation, including use cases, examples, and best practices.
- Design, implement, and manage API testing scripts and test plans to ensure performance and functionality.
- Work with technical teams to provide prompt and effective responses to client inquiries and issues.
- Evaluate business processes for continuous improvement opportunities, including automation and workflow optimization.
- Provide day-to-day analytical and technical support for channels supported.
- Identify and track metrics to measure progress of process improvement efforts as well as sales process & technology performance.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Tell the story on gaps to need / expectation as well as our success in closing those gaps.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- Hybrid work schedule. Can be located in Houston or Plan and Surrounding areas.
- Open office environment
- Occasional overtime for project deliverables
- Minimal travel required (less than 10%)
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Excel, Visio, and SQL

- Experience conducting interviews with SMEs and end users to assess process/system needs
- Experience in process improvement and technology integration initiatives
- Self-motivated with the ability to lead independent initiatives
Physical Requirements:
- Majority of work is performed on a personal computer in a seated position
- Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities
