We have an opening at our Monmouth Junction, NJ facility for an Associate Director or Director, IT - Commercialization and Digital. This is an individual contributor role with potential to lead and manage a small team in the future. Title and compensation commensurate with experience.

The Associate Director/Director, IT - Commercialization and Digital plays a critical leadership role in enabling the successful commercialization of pharmaceutical products through digital and enterprise IT solutions. This role bridges commercial, supply chain, market access, and digital marketing functions to ensure that technology platforms, data flow, and user experiences are integrated, scalable, and compliant. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in launching and managing digital platforms (websites, digital marketing), supporting commercial operations (order-to-cash, analytics), and orchestrating integrations across supply chain and market access systems in a regulated life sciences environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Platform Strategy & Execution

  • Leads planning, design, and deployment of external-facing digital platforms including product websites, HCP portals, and patient support sites
  • Partners with commercial and brand teams to implement digital marketing tools, including tag management, consent tracking, and performance analytics
  • Ensures scalable, compliant architectures using CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe, Sitecore, Webflow, Acquia)

Commercial & O2C Enablement

  • Oversees IT systems supporting order-to-cash (O2C) workflows, including integration with ERP (e.g., JD Edwards) and 3PL logistics
  • Manages systems that support field sales, patient services, and reimbursement processes
  • Drives automation and visibility across pricing, contracting, chargebacks, and returns

Market Access & Specialty Pharma Infrastructure

  • Implements and supports platforms used for Market Access operations, including hub services, copay programs, specialty pharmacy data exchanges, and payer portals
  • Leads integration with Patient Support Services (PSS) platforms and ensure secure exchange of PHI data in compliance with HIPAA. Building integrations with channel partners, patient access vendors, and product serialization providers

Technology & Data Architecture

  • Designs and maintains secure, scalable data flows between digital platforms, CRM, ERP, and analytics tools
  • Ensures real-time dashboards and KPIs are accessible to commercial leaders via platforms like Power BI or Tableau
  • Drives adoption of cloud-first, API-driven approaches to support agile business needs

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Manages external creative agencies, digital developers, and IT system integrators
  • Collaborates closely with Commercial, Market Access, Supply Chain, Medical Affairs, and external partners

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline and minimum 7 years of experience in IT roles with significant focus on pharma commercialization, digital platforms, and enterprise integration REQUIRED
  • Proven track record managing IT launch readiness for new products and brands REQUIRED
  • Experience working with creative agencies, CMS vendors, 3PLs, data hubs, and patient support vendors REQUIRED
  • Hands-on experience with digital compliance in healthcare, including PII/PHI handling, data tagging, and auditable workflows REQUIRED
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CMS platforms, SEO, analytics tools) REQUIRED
  • ERP, CRM, and related integrations REQUIRED
  • Familiarity with HCP engagement, digital asset management (DAM), and tag governance REQUIRED
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align technical strategy with commercial priorities REQUIRED

Work Arrangements: We are a HYBRID work environment requiring local candidates to be able to work majority of week in our NJ office. Non-local candidates must be able to come into office multiple times a month.

Anticipated salary range: $180 to $ 250K/yr. Base salary offered is contingent on assessment of candidate's education and experience level relative to requirements of the position and a review of related industry standards and internal equity.
