GENERAL SUMMARY: This position performs all aspects of the procurement of tooling, fixtures, and related services required to support the manufacture of titanium castings done in-plant and/or through sub-contractors. Position works under the support of the Development Engineering Manager and the Purchasing Manager to develop the necessary structure and tools to manage a quality, cost-effective, performance oriented supplier base. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Manufacturing Technology or related discipline with minimum of 3 years experience in purchasing or project management; and minimum of 1 year experience working in production planning or a machining organization. Experience working in wax injection die development/manufacturing. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to communicate, write, type and operate office equipment. Ability to exert over thirty-five pounds of force to move objects. Ability to work in an environment with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals and varying temperatures.
