For more information visit our website at www.kearfott.com Deputy Program Manager Role Overview: Deputy Program Manager supports the planning, execution, and oversight of complex defense and aerospace programs. Working under a senior PM or Program Director, they help coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure contract and regulatory compliance, manage schedules, and track performance metrics for various programs. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. * Track project deliverables using tools like MS Project or Earned Value Management (EVM). * Communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers. * Support proposal development, contract execution, and compliance with ITAR, DFARS, and other regulations. * Monitor program milestones, generate status reports, and support internal reviews. * Coordinate change management and configuration control processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field. * 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or engineering roles. * Familiarity with DoD acquisition lifecycle and government contracting. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Proficiency in MS Office, scheduling tools, and possibly Earned Value tools like Cobra or Deltek. * Security clearance is a plus. * Must be a US Citizen. * PMP certification is a plus.
