Ultra Maritime is searching for a highly motivated and detail oriented Senior Software Engineer to support the development of an existing RADAR system. Working closely with the software and systems engineers, the Senior Software Engineer will develop features of the RADAR System from initial design, software development, to integration and test events that may be on-site. Under the guidance of the lead software engineer, the Senior Software Engineer will provide estimates of effort for the tasks assigned to them. The software application includes a GUI and the Senior Software Engineer will contribute to the development, maintenance, and testing of that application. At Ultra Maritime, the Senior Software Engineer will have the opportunity to develop key technologies for the U.S. Navy and will have the opportunity to work with complex software algorithms and cutting-edge digital signal processing hardware. The Senior Software Engineer will have the opportunity to contribute to key strategic approaches for future proposals, IR&D, and additional development activities.Nationality Requirements Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.
