Job Summary:

As a member of the Strategic Marketing team, the Sr Product Manager for Hospital Automation Solutions is responsible for managing multiple products through their lifecycle. This position works closely with Sales and Engineering to launch new products, focusing on product messaging to customers and ensuring commercial excellence. The Senior Product Manager also maintains existing products by prioritizing product enhancements and communicating them to Engineering, as well as updating collateral based on market needs or new marketing campaigns.

The Sr Product Manager also assists in product pricing, competitive research, and development of sales tools such as studies or whitepapers, and demonstrates leadership at tradeshow events.

Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to understand customer needs, market dynamics, trends, and the competitive landscape to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle plans, from concept through launch and market maturity.
  • Customer Insights & Requirements: Gather and prioritize customer feedback, develop use cases, and translate needs into functional product requirements that drive business value.
  • Positioning & Messaging: Develop clear, differentiated value propositions and product messaging tailored to key audiences across global markets.
  • Go-to-Market Planning: Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches and updates, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
  • Product Launch Management: Oversee all aspects of product launches, including campaign planning, communications, training, and sales enablement activities.
  • Sales Enablement: Create and deliver product collateral, sales tools, presentations, and training materials to equip the sales force to effectively position and sell the product.
  • Marketing Campaign Execution: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, event, and social channels to drive product awareness and engagement.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization: Track KPIs, analyze campaign and product performance, and recommend optimizations to improve ROI and strategic impact.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform positioning, messaging, and product strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, engineering, sales, clinical, and regulatory teams to ensure cohesive execution across departments.
  • Global Marketing Support: Coordinate with regional marketing teams in key geographies including the Americas, EMEA, APAC, and Japan to ensure localized strategies and consistent messaging.
  • Regulatory & Technical Support: Collaborate with Technical Services to develop documentation and support materials aligned with compliance and product requirements.
  • Lifecycle Management: Manage product releases through Alpha, Beta, Pre-Market, and Full Market phases, ensuring timely execution and feedback integration.
  • Trade Show Representation: Represent the company and products at key industry events and trade shows to promote awareness and gather market insights.
  • Special Projects: Support strategic initiatives and ad-hoc projects as assigned by leadership.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Five to ten years of demonstrated success in Product Marketing/Management/Commercial responsibility in the medical device industry
  • Very strong business acumen (or commensurate training)
  • Deep experience in healthcare systems sales and integration
  • Strong background in healthcare technology, information technology and networking
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to anticipate and articulate future possibilities and trends
  • Strong writing and speaking skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Advanced ability with the Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% travel


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Proven leadership, orientation to customer and team needs, creativity, and a "do whatever it takes attitude."


Education:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Technical/Clinical field is required. MBA/advanced degree is desired.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $140,000 - $175,000 plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience.

Physical requirements/Work Environment

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% is necessary.
