Responsibilities

Join Our Team as the Director of Admissions!

Are you ready to take the lead in shaping the future of admissions at Newport Healthcare? We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Admissions to join our passionate team under the guidance of the Vice President of Admissions. This is your chance to make a significant impact in a role that combines leadership, strategy, and innovation!

What You'll Do:

Lead with Purpose: Manage and inspire a talented team of Associate Directors, Managers, and Admissions staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service.

Strategize for Success: Collaborate with your team on admissions cases to guarantee timely and appropriate placements, ensuring every individual receives the care they deserve.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Program Management to coordinate admissions, tours, special accommodations, discharges, and transfers, ensuring a smooth experience for all.

Financial Oversight: Review and approve pre-admission financials, ensuring transparency and accuracy in every step of the process.

Empower Your Team: Oversee Contact Center staffing, training, and performance, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Quality Assurance: Monitor and facilitate departmental quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of service and staff development.

Be the Go-To Expert: Act as the primary contact for Local Program Management, Clinical Outreach, and Finance staff, resolving any issues that arise with admissions.

Support When It Matters: Be available evenings and weekends to provide essential support to your team, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed.

Drive Performance Improvement: Regularly review staff performance, implement improvement mechanisms, and conduct one-on-one and departmental meetings to keep everyone on track.

Data-Driven Decisions: Execute a variety of reports and dashboards to provide organizational visibility, identify trends, and drive strategic decisions.


Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Behavioral Health Science, or equivalent experience is required.

Experience: Minimum two years of managerial experience is required.

Behavioral Health Background: Minimum five years of experience working in a front-end department of a behavioral health organization (i.e., Admissions, Contact Center, Utilization Review, Marketing, Clinical Outreach, etc.) is required.

Supervisory Experience: Two years of experience working in a contact center in a supervisory capacity is preferred.
