Description Acara Solutions is looking for a Temporary Purchasing Specialist for one of our clients in Thousand Oaks, CA. This role is 100% on site.
Contract Lenghth: 3-4 month assignment.
Pay Rate: $40-$43 hourly
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment and supplies from qualified ISO/FDA vendors and maintaining the related documents and records. Manage vendor relationships and oversee order placement, including raw materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years related purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 3 years' experience using major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software like SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, as well as Purchasing software such as Coupa, iBuy, Ariba, etc.
