The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The incumbent will work with the Center for Prolonged Grief within the Columbia School of Social Work as a clinical member of our team, developing and providing training, consultation, and direct treatment as needed for training and research purposes. THIS IS A PART-TIME VARIABLE HOURS OFFICER POSITION. THIS POSITION IS PARTIALLY GRANT-FUNDED AND CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT IS BASED ON FUNDING. Responsibilities Participate in grant meetings, including peer supervision and treatment of bereaved families as part of an AFSP-funded grant. Participate in other research-related activities, involving the assessment and treatment of participants with prolonged grief. Assist in reviewing and continuing development programs for clinicians and workshops for the general public. Minimum Qualifications A licensed mental health professional is required. Bachelor's degree and 3 -5 years of related experience with the treatment of prolonged grief disorder. Preferred Qualifications At least 8 years of clinical experience, 3 years of clinical research experience, and 5 years of experience as a PGT Therapist.
