Description

Starting Salary Range: $68,000-80,000 - position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.

What You'll Do

As a Legal Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting MISO's legal and regulatory filings, helping ensure compliance and efficiency in our operations. You'll work closely with attorneys and internal business partners to manage filings with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and other regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities



  • Administer and manage the Legal inbox, calendars, and key filing deadlines
  • Track regulatory order summaries and post-filing activities
  • Assist in drafting and managing legal documents and pleadings
  • Support tariff administration and version control
  • File documents, motions, and pleadings with FERC
  • Communicate filing requirements and timelines across the Legal team

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to ask questions
  • Team-oriented mindset with informal leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with eTariff software is helpful (training provided)

Education
Bachelors (preferred)
Experience
Experience in the energy industry or with utility tariffs (preferred)
