Join the Adobe Express Branding team in a senior engineering role that directly crafts how brands come to life in creative workflows. Your work will empower users from small businesses to large enterprises to build on-brand content at scale with the simplicity and speed Adobe Express is known for.

You'll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced team passionate about launching features like "Rapid brand from upload," "Auto-recommend palettes," "On-brand editor defaults," and "Apply Brand." Our mission is to make brand consistency effortless and intelligent across every creative moment.

Seeking a senior engineer to clarify ambiguity, solve technical challenges, and build flexible systems.

What You'll Do

  • Own your code end-to-end from design and testing to deployment and maintenance.
  • Be the go-to person for unblocking teams; you'll help answer engineering and product questions even when requirements are unclear.
  • Drive alignment by digging into prior decisions, surfacing edge cases, and connecting the dots across teams.
  • Participate in and lead architecture reviews, debugging sessions, and platform discussions.
  • Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering peers across time zones to craft roadmaps and deliver value.
  • Provide mentorship to engineers, helping them grow through technical mentorship and thoughtful feedback.
  • Stay close to our customers, internal and external, to refine experiences and validate ideas.
What You Need to Succeed

  • 10+ years of experience building complex, production-grade web applications using modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Deep expertise in component architecture, separation of concerns, and building scalable UI systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Web Components (e.g., LitElement), ES Modules, and Shadow DOM or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and bring structure where direction is evolving; you ask great questions, synthesize feedback, and turn incomplete ideas into clear execution plans.
  • Comfortable working across the stack and diving into unfamiliar code or systems as needed.
  • Excellent communicator; clear, concise, and empathetic in both real-time and asynchronous collaboration.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Bonus Points
  • Experience working in large-scale front-end monorepos using standard methodologies for modularization and code reuse.
  • Familiarity with modern build and packaging tools (e.g., npm, Webpack, Bazel).
  • Experience developing Node.js services and integrating with frameworks like Express.js.
  • Strong focus on quality; adept at test automation (unit, integration, E2E).
  • Background in Agile/SCRUM teams, particularly in distributed or cross-geo environments.
