What you'll do Adobe is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Creative Cloud Education product management team with a core focus on safe, ethical, and compliant use of AI technologies in K-12 and higher education environments. This role will be central to Adobe's strategy to foster trust, transparency, and responsible innovation in education, particularly in the areas of GenAI compliance, abuse prevention, AI user skilling, and institutional readiness. You will work cross-functionally with AI, legal, trust & safety, engineering, and marketing teams to define and deliver product solutions that empower educators and students to safely and effectively use Adobe's creative AI tools in the classroom. Through research, data, and a strong customer orientation, you'll identify and address friction points around privacy, misuse, transparency, and skilling, ensuring that AI capabilities are accessible, appropriate, and aligned with institutional expectations. Responsibilities:
- Identify risks and opportunities in the education use of AI features and tools through customer research, regulatory tracking, and classroom observation, especially across K-12 compliance environments.
- Define a product strategy and roadmap for safe and responsible AI usage in education, including guardrails for privacy, abuse prevention, transparency, and educator control.
- Partner with engineering, data science, legal, and research teams to design and deliver AI compliance features such as opt-in/opt-out controls, usage monitoring etc.
- Drive initiatives that help institutions, educators and students skill up in AI fluency.
- Use analytics, A/B testing, and qualitative insights to assess product adoption and feature performance.
- Support internal and external messaging to help Adobe's customers, partners, and field teams understand Adobe's approach to safe and transparent AI in education.
- Champion the voice of educators and students as we expand Adobe's creative tools with AI capabilities.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Minimum of BS in Computer Science, BA or equivalent experience
- 5+ years work experience in product management, compliance, edtech, or enterprise software
- Strong preference for hands-on experience with generative AI technologies and models (e.g., Adobe Firefly, OpenAI or open-source frameworks like Stable Diffusion). Aspirants need to show recent leadership experience in product initiatives, focusing on solutions and proficiency in core technologies, user processes, and ethical/compliance aspects of GenAI in consumer or education environments.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex product spaces involving risk, compliance, or sensitive user groups
- Proficient in data analysis, A/B testing and statistical analysis
- Ability to present complex ideas clearly and to rally people around a vision. Outstanding interpersonal skills with both local and remote teams
- Ability to work in a team setting and/or independently as needed; self-starter
- Highly hard-working, creative, with an ambitious spirit and the desire to innovate
- Passion for education and a desire to build tools that empower educators and students to create safely, confidently, and creatively in a new AI era
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $122,200 -- $234,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
