This Position reports to:

Production Manager
Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for following work plans as defined by Production Management to assemble Medium Voltage High Power Drives in the US. You will ensure that health and safety standards are met as well as cooperating with the production line manager to create an effective work environment and reinforce production schedules and quality.

Your responsibilities

  • Informs management regarding issues within the production line.
  • Perform day-to-day production activities including safety and on-the-job trainings, adhering to ISO standards, and working with hand tools.
  • Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.
  • Inspires, guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect reports within HR policies.

Your background

  • The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma, with an associate degree being preferred.
  • An ability to read, understand, and work from electrical schematic diagrams and mechanical layout drawings is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate has a proven ability to work well with others, and is goal oriented in a team setting.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
