FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: M-F Position Summary The Director of Patient Safety oversees the implementation and management of patient safety programs across an entire healthcare system. The director leads the development and implementation of strategies to create a culture of safety and minimize errors across the entire healthcare system. This role involves fostering a high-reliability organization (HRO) by implementing continuous improvement methodologies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of safety among all staff. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of patient safety science, psychological safety and performance improvement methodologies. The director leads the development and execution of strategies to enhance operational partnership to improve patient safety, patient and family relations, and a high reliability culture. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.Responsibilties

Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $158,434.00 - $219,960.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
