Your future role "Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and quality assurance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates. You'll drive improvements in fleet safety, reliability, and performance, optimizing rail vehicle availability and maintenance practices. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, quality control, customer representatives), implement standardized engineering methods and KPIs, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure operational excellence and cost efficiency, and much more." Implementing agreed methods for standardized gathering and analysis of vehicle performance and reliability data using engineering techniques, practices, and processes. ,
Assisting in tracking O&M site performance based on defined KPIs and preparing consolidated reports to drive higher vehicle reliability and improved asset utilization. ,
Undertaking engineering investigations of rail vehicles, associated equipment, and components to improve fleet safety, reliability, performance, and asset availability while reducing operating costs. ,
Developing and introducing standardized engineering methods, work practices, and procedures to optimize asset availability and performance. ,
Performing risk/safety analysis and preparing detailed technical reports to support initiatives and their implementation. ,
Undertaking Reliability Centered Maintenance reviews of existing maintenance techniques and practices, validating their effectiveness, and implementing improvements to enhance reliability and optimize maintenance programs. ,
Supervising Subsystem Quality Inspectors and guiding sub-system installation teams to ensure Quality and Safety contributions to the project. ,
Establishing, implementing, validating, and updating Quality Installation Control Plans and relevant QC forms in accordance with contract requirements and Alstom processes. ,
Performing site quality inspections, managing NCRs for non-compliant products/processes, and ensuring compliance with installation activities before final acceptance. ,
Supporting the PrQSM in reporting quality KPIs, identifying improvement opportunities, raising safety alerts, and driving continuous improvement/problem-solving activities at the subsystem installation level."
