Acute Licensed Practical Nurse

The Acute Licensed Practical Nurse must demonstrate familiarity with dialysis and hospital procedures and the knowledge, skills, and judgement necessary to assume the responsibility of caring for the dialysis patient in the acute or post-acute care setting. This position exercises knowledge of patient rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all patients in a safe, secure environment. Position cooperates and works together with all co-workers to plan and complete job duties with applicable clinical and supervisory direction, including exercising job-appropriate judgment.

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current state licensure.
• Additional IV medication class, if required by state guidelines.
• Meets all state/licensing requirements.
• ESRD experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
• Ability to read and interpret safety, operating, and procedure manuals.
• Effective communication with clients and staff.

Salary Range:

• $18 - $32 / hour depending on experience and qualifications
