Primary Duties
1. Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with business partners to ensure project goals are achieved.
2. Facilitates a shared understanding of the business problem. Helps to define the scope of a project and determine success measures.
3. Performs root cause and current state analysis in order to identify process improvement opportunities.
4. Elicits requirements from the business to evaluate options and enable a solution that supports the business process. Presents viable and creative solutions. Influences the project team to pursue the best outcome.
5. Develops a to-be business process based on best practices and industry standards, enterprise vision and objectives, and the future technology landscape.
6. Conducts the impact analysis of the to-be process, identifying stakeholders and assessing level of impact to each.
7. Understands and applies the principles, types, and stages of a change. Develops a change management approach to suit the situation.
8. Plans and implements communication, training, and sustainment activities using data gathered in change readiness and impact assessments.
9. Reviews and reports on outcomes and success measures at the end of a project. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
10. Takes interest in and participates in peer teaching in order to help others increase knowledge and skill.
11. Supports other project implementation activities such as, but not limited to, assembly, functional and business process testing, deployment planning, communication, training and post-deployment support.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Educational/Experience Level:
Requires Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, Organizational Change Management or a related field and three years related experience or equivalent.
Communication Skills:
Requires the ability to communicate, persuade and/or influence internal and/or external customers at a high level such as senior management on matters of a technical and/or complex nature.
Numeric Skills:
Requires the ability to perform to perform algebraic, trigonometric and geometric operations and/or moderately complex statistical and/or accounting methods.
Computer Skills:
Requires advanced knowledge of various software applications to create documents, reports and/or graphics.
Physical Demands:
Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
Work Conditions:
Works in an office environment. May require some traveling.
