Summary:

In this role, you will build and maintain software products for Vizient within our IT group. You will leverage development expertise to create and maintain software solutions and tools for Vizient's internal customers. You will provide mentorship for employees in the immediate group.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, code, test, deliver and debug software in a Pair-Programming environment.
• Implement large, complex stories spanning multiple technology domains.
• Facilitate and lead story breakup and refinement sessions.
• Drive feature-level architecture and design sessions.
• Participate in product level architecture and design sessions.
• Recommend actions to improve procedures and standards.
• Stay up to date to identify and communicate technical trends and emerging technology.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred. Advanced Degree in Computer Science or similar is desired.
• 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
• Solid experience writing and troubleshooting SQL and T-SQL is required.
• Data analysis, data modeling, and data integration using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is required.
• Experience with C#, .NET, .Net Core, Java, Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, PowerBI, and Microstrategy development is required.
• Experience with Azure technologies like Azure Data Factory (ADF), AWS Glue, AWS Data Pipeline or similar is required.
• Experience developing in cloud-based data environments such as Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2), Amazon S3, or other Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions is required.
• Experience in an Agile development environment, using Agile concepts such as Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Paired Programming, or Extreme Programming (XP) is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking, paired with logical and physical database design skills is preferred.
• Extensive experience working with enterprise solution delivery in a large-scale distributed software design environment is preferred.
• Experience with Octopus deploy and Jenkins is preferred.
• You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
