Summary:

In this role, you will apply Agile and full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Quality Assurance (QA) methodology and standards to verify and validate products that meet specifications and customer acceptance criteria. You will lead the development and enhancement of various test automation frameworks and lead QA automation initiatives across the organization. You will create an automation framework from scratch for web-based applications.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, develop, and implement software test automation frameworks and tooling standards to support sustainable and continuous test automation.
• Lead QA automation initiatives and small teams.
• Multi-task while being self-directed and able to prioritize and escalate issues as needed.
• Analyze and strengthen testing automation strategy to automate testing; recommend and build processes using automation tools.
• Create, develop, and improve test plans, load, and performance tests.
• Improve existing QA processes and develop new processes when applicable.
• Investigate and recommend new technologies and improvements to the testing framework and environment.
• Ensure the automation suite is current, flexible, scalable, and designed to work within a continuous integration framework.
• Interact with various levels of technical teams and management to educate and influence test strategy.
• Foster a culture of continuous delivery using DevOps-based strategies.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred; degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
• 7 or more years of relevant experience with test automation frameworks in Agile environments required.
• Experience with Selenium, as well as other automation tools such as TestNG, JMeter, etc., required.
• Experience building a test automation framework, writing, and debugging automated tests required.
• Experience with Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) and creating complex SQL statements required.
• Experience leading a team of software testers and automation engineers required.
• Programming skills in Java and Selenium WebDriver experience required.
• Hands-on experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS), GitHub, SQL and Oracle databases, database automation tools, and automation framework design highly preferred.
• Experience creating functional libraries using Page Object Model, creating test reports using Junit, testing, and source code management preferred.
• You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
