Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to support our shipping department and serve as a part-time driver. This dual-role position will be involved in packaging of finished products, inventory handling, and delivery/pick-up of products from local suppliers and partners. The ideal candidate is organized, punctual, and flexible team player working in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping Department Assistant

    • Securely package, palletize, and label finished products for shipment to customers across the country.
    • Prepare accurate and detailed paperwork to record and track outgoing shipments.
    • Ensure that outgoing shipments conform to bills of material and work orders.
    • Receive, inspect, and approve incoming deliveries.
    • Move stock items to designated areas once properly received.
    • Move project-related items to appropriate department once properly received.
    • Maintain shipping areas clean, well-organized, and compliant with safety regulations.


  • Part-Time Driver

    • Safely operate company-owned vans, stake-bed trucks, and forklifts.
    • Perform local pick-ups and deliveries as needed.
    • Load/unload products with care.
    • Keep vehicles clean and report any maintenance/damage issues in timely manner.
    • Follow assigned routes and schedules and abide by all traffic laws.





Requirements / Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass standard driver's physical examination.
  • Forklift certification, or willingness/ability to be trained for certification.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand or sit for extended periods, and work in hot or cold conditions.
  • Able to use basic hand/power tools and measuring instruments.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime if needed.
  • Team player with positive communication skills.
  • Flexible mindset with willingness to be cross-trained on additional duties as needed.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs (e.g, Outlook for email).
