Job Title: Java Engineer Location(s): Seattle, WA Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Java Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. This role involves working with modern Java frameworks, relational databases, and interface patterns to deliver robust solutions. You will collaborate across teams, applying object-oriented and multi-paradigm programming techniques to create efficient, user-friendly systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC). Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define software requirements. Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Optimize application performance and scalability. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Required Skills: Proficiency in Java SE/EE. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security). Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Experience with version control systems like Git. Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle. Understanding of unit testing frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.
