General Job Duties:



  • Operate the palletizer in a safe and efficient manner
  • Complete and document QC sampling requirements (take lab samples as needed).
  • Document damaged cases that need to be dumped.
  • Complete assigned sanitation responsibilities and document as required by the Master Sanitation Progream to maintain area sanitation requirements.
  • Keep accurate records of downtime reports, production pallet reports and pallet tickets for each production run.
  • Maintain proper distribution of finished product from packaging room to cooler or trucks.
  • Be a company certified user of material handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, high lifts and barrel trucks.
  • Maintain proper amount of material for scheduled production run associated with palletizer. (Pallets, wrap, etc.).
  • Assist other palletizer operators as needed.
  • Bale cardboard as needed.
  • Perform any other duties as designated by supervisor and/or management.

Education and Experience



  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred
  • Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
  • Able to effectively work in a team environment
  • Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
