Cyber Tool Developer (Junior and Senior Levels)

Location:Fort Meade, MDType: Full-Time | Clearance:TS/SCI CI Poly
Note: These positions are part of an active proposal effort and are contingent upon contract award.

Overview

DarkStar Intelligence is seeking multiple Cyber Tool Developers to support a cutting-edge mission in Cyber Network Operations (CNO). We are hiring a mix of junior and senior developers who are passionate about building custom cyber tools and supporting secure data transfer processes. Whether you're a sharp college graduate with a knack for cyber, or a seasoned developer with CNO experience, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop custom cyber tools and capabilities in support of operational mission sets.

  • Work closely with the Program Manager and other developers to deliver rapid, reliable, and secure solutions.

  • Two team members will serve as Designated Transfer Agents (DTAs), ensuring secure low-to-high data transfers across classified systems.

  • Support full lifecycle development within a secure DEVSECOPS framework.

  • Conduct code reviews, system integration, and troubleshooting as required.

Minimum Qualifications
  • For Junior Roles:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

    • Demonstrated cyber acumen, particularly in scripting, system internals, or tool development.

    • Ability to support DTA responsibilities with appropriate security awareness.

  • For Senior Roles:

    • Several years of experience in CNO tool development or related cyber mission support.

    • Proficiency in languages such as C, Python, or Assembly, and experience with system-level programming.

    • Familiarity with secure data handling, deployment in classified environments, and operational requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • System administration experience in secure environments.

  • Experience working in agile or DEVSECOPS pipelines.

  • Prior experience supporting cyber missions for government or defense customers.
