Position Summary: Sets up, programs, and runs complex equipment and machine tools used in the production of product. Performs simple and complex maintenance on production and support machines. Functional Contribution (Contribution Matrix): * Uses judgment to know when to refer issues to others * Recommends and implements solutions within designated area of responsibility * Technical troubleshooting of process, equipment, and product. * Contribute in problem solving activities. * Understand the processes and can apply them in multiple work areas and has the ability to train others on specific skills. * Uses resources to learn the business * Identifies ways to reduce waste and improve business processes * Transfers knowledge from one situation to the next * Demonstrate knowledge with Microsoft Office and other computer systems * Demonstrates approachability and openness * Establishes credibility * Demonstrates excellent interpersonal listening and communication capabilities * Uses the Watlow Business System (WBS) to achieve results * Demonstrating the Watlow Way (WW) Leader Behaviors Skills, Abilities and Mastery (Responsibility Matrix): Delivery: * Set up/program and run complex equipment and machine tools used in the production of product. * Perform both simple and complex maintenance on production and support machines. * Review and complete necessary data capture * Review processes and implement improvements per change procedures (i.e. copy exact) * Run and maintain test equipment per procedure. * Serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues * May orient, train, and assign/review the work of other team members. Business Partner: * Collaborates with Maintenance with regard to Total Productive Mainenance (TPM) * Works with New Product Development (NPD) to deliver designs and prototypes for manufacturing. * Collaborates with engineers to implement change improvements. * Experience using Micrometers, and Calipers Center of Expertise (COE) * Bronze Certification Education, Experience and Certification Requirements: * Preferred Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience (3-5 years) * Leadership training Benefits: The Watlow Total Compensation Plan The health, well-being and financial stability of you and your family is a high priority to us.
