Pay Range: $17.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Works flexible schedule, overtime, weekends, and holidays if required.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with a well-rounded background in residential repairs and installations. You should be comfortable working independently or with a small team and delivering quality work to clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Paint interior and exterior surfaces with minimal supervision
  • Perform basic plumbing repairs, including sink, toilet, and faucet replacements
  • Conduct minor electrical work, such as installing light fixtures and switches
  • Repair and patch drywall, texture, and prep for paint
  • Install LVP and laminate flooring independently
  • Assemble and install furniture, cabinets, and basic built-ins
  • Perform minor carpentry including door adjustments, trim work, and fence repairs
  • Conduct basic landscaping and sprinkler head adjustments/repairs
  • Accurately document work completed and communicate with the office and clients

Education:



  • A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.


Experience:



  • Previous experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • 2-5 years of residential maintenance or construction experience
  • Proficiency in multiple trades (plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry)
  • Ability to read and follow work orders or blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Own hand tools; company may provide specialized tools
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record



Other:



  • Ability to work independently, with a team, and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Reliable attendance is required.
  • Ability to follow Goodwill and Client policies and procedures, including any State safety policies and procedures.
