We're looking for a Sr. Product Manager - Platforms to join our Platforms team and help us unleash the potential of every business. What you'll own as the Sr. Product Manager - Platforms Responsible for defining product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the Platforms suite. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver products that align with business goals and customer needs, driving the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization. You will ensure that the product delivers value to users, partners, and stakeholders, supporting Worldpay for Platforms' position as a leader in integrated payments. Strategic Planning and Vision:
Understand and communicate the company and line of business strategy, market, industry, and client goals, applying this understanding to the assigned product suite and roadmaps. Collaborate with internal teams (including market-facing, strategy, product, and development) to align product goals with overall business objectives and strategy. Identify and prioritize opportunities for new features and services based on market demands, customer needs, and competitive landscape analysis. Leverage market research and competitive analysis to create business cases for product and feature enhancements, validating concepts and problem statements with partners, merchants, and sales teams. Drive new growth areas beyond traditional payments, exploring innovative solutions to expand Platform's value proposition.
Financial and Market Management:
Own and manage the shadow P&L for the product, ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded. Make final pricing decisions to optimize market positioning and profitability, with validated input from Finance, Product Marketing, and Sales. Lead build, buy, or partner decisions to enhance product capabilities and market reach, supporting commercialization and go-to-market strategies.
Product Development and Lifecycle Management:
Conduct product feasibility assessments to determine viability and potential impact, collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams. Size and prioritize products and features based on strategic goals, customer needs, and feedback from software partners. Gather requirements and complete strategic planning and Product Requirement Documents (PRD), ensuring clarity on ownership of requirements documentation. Work closely with other product and development teams across Worldpay to prioritize high-impact features and improvements.
Performance Measurement and Reporting:
Design and implement measurement and reporting frameworks to track product performance and success. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future enhancements and decisioning. Monitor product performance post-launch, gathering feedback for continuous improvement and ensuring product-market fit.
Partner Engagement and Feedback:
Collaborate with software partners to understand their needs, tailoring existing and new products to incorporate their feedback and requirements. Support software partners in effectively presenting and promoting Value-Added Services, driving adoption and satisfaction.
Commercialization and Go-to-Market Activities:
What you'll bring
Background in partner-based payments or software companies with a focus on payments or financial products. Experience in API/SaaS products with a strong understanding of customer needs and technological trends in Integrated & Embedded Payments and/or Payment Facilitation. Proven ability to work collaboratively with other product and development teams, and cross-functionally in a matrixed environment. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 4+ years Product Management and/or Product Commercialization experience

The pay range for this full-time position is $133,900.00 - $224,900.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.This position is eligible for bonus.
