As the Quality Assurance Representative, you will support the Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Service Center (NATEC) in ensuring the integrity, compliance, and performance of multi-level Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) at the Top Secret, Secret, and Unclassified levels. This position supports our CSS team within NAVAIR's Airborne Strategic Command, Control and Communications Program Office, PMA-271. PMA-271 is leading the recapitalization of the E-6 NC3 mission through the development of the next-generation E-130J platform. This role is integral to maintaining program excellence throughout the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain continuous engagement with contractors to ensure IETM development remains on schedule and meets all security and contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary government teams, including Logistics, Air Vehicle, Mission Systems, and Training, to align technical data development with program needs.
  • Ensure all contractual program requirements are properly communicated and flowed down to contractors, maintaining full compliance with contract, industry, and program standards.
  • Conduct verification and validation activities to ensure deliverables meet quality, security, and operational requirements.
  • Review and assess practices, procedures, and processes to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and product quality while reducing risk.
  • Contribute to strategies for improving supplier performance and ensuring supplier quality; provide regular updates on program status.
  • Identify, quantify, and manage risks in accordance with program standards and procedures.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • 5 years of experience with quality assurance processes within a defense acquisition or aviation program environment, required.
  • Demonstrated experience in the aircraft maintenance field is required.
  • Must have knowledge of IETM development, technical data management, and applicable military/industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices is required.
  • Quality Ability to work collaboratively with diverse technical and program teams.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance. Selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Salary Range:

  • The estimated salary range for this position will be $120,000 - $150,000 annually, based on an individual's level of experience and skill set. It is our goal at ASEC to provide equitable compensation to all employees.
