Pay Range: $89,000 - $126,000

The Sr Financial Analyst for Strategic Cost is responsible for supporting accurate and timely product cost analysis, accurate product costing for new and existing products, and supporting the annual standard cost roll. This role requires an understanding of cost accounting principles, manufacturing processes, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This role will report to and support the Manager of Strategic Cost and work cross functionally within the organization to ensure all projects use accurate product costing.

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):



  • Build and update product cost analytics models to help the business make appropriate decisions
  • Support the delivery of total cost analytics processes to the business, including delivery costs
  • Assist in accurate product cost allocation for pricing strategies and profitability analysis.
  • Perform unit cost analysis for benchmarking performance and driving cost competitive initiatives
  • Support cost analysis on business cases of all types (make vs. buy, resourcing, cash implications, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with internal finance and accounting policies and procedures
  • Represent the finance organization as a core team member on cross-functional projects
  • Coordinate analyses, reporting, and forecasting support for capital investments
  • Participate in the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need (Qualifications):



  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (strongly preferred) or equivalent experience.


  • MBA or CPA license preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of strong related experience is required


  • Demonstrated experience with financial analysis, standard and direct cost accounting.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, primarily Excel.
  • Some travel, evening and weekend work may be required.
