The marketing team plays a key strategic role in the success of delivering business results and superior customer experiences, and we are looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist - Construction & Technology to join our team.

The Senior Marketing Specialist - Construction & Technology will develop and execute marketing strategies and initiatives that support the business goals and growth plans of the Construction, Technology, and Sitech businesses. This role is a strategic thought partner for the sales and business leads, overseeing the entire lifecycle of marketing campaigns, from planning and execution to analysis and optimization. Responsibilities include translating data and research into actionable marketing plans, developing strategic campaigns that achieve business goals, and understanding our customers' behaviors and needs. The Senior Marketing Specialist - Construction & Technology plays a key role in crafting marketing plans that upsell, cross-sell, create demand, and drive sales. The role requires a strong communicator and relationship-builder, skilled in facilitating collaboration across departments, teams, and external parties.

Essential Functions

  • Develop compelling messaging and positioning that effectively promote the products, services, and solutions of Carolina Cat and related brands to drive customer engagement, leads, adoption, retention, and growth.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies for assigned business unit through strategic marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, market saturation, and deliver superb customer experiences.
  • Identify key target market segments, personas, and stakeholders for marketing programs and ensure that all communications are clear, professional, engaging, and relevant to their audiences.
  • Regularly assess and report on the effectiveness of marketing projects, including campaign ROI, and make recommendations for improvements as necessary.
  • Support marketing and sales departments through collaboration, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders during implementation of marketing campaigns, projects, and/or initiatives.
  • Develop and drive successful go-to-market plans to include identifying customer needs and market trends, conducting market research and competitive analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and developing compelling messaging and positioning for our products and solutions (new and sustaining).
  • Track and measure budgets to increase marketing effectiveness and productivity.
  • Assist in researching competitors by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising.
  • Integrate deeply with internal, front-line sales teams to understand business goals, the voice of customers, customer segmentation, and critical performance gaps and opportunities.
  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns and initiatives to achieve annual business plans and multi-year growth goals.
  • Assist in customer data-mining efforts and deploy business development skills to identify new opportunities for the dealership in existing or undeveloped markets.
  • Maintain a good understanding of current OEM campaigns and communicate offers with the business.
  • Lead the creation of marketing collateral and other support materials to achieve business objectives.
  • Become a brand advocate by reviewing marketing materials to ensure consistency across digital platforms, collateral, merchandise, and print communications.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Marketing, or a related area of study.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively more senior responsibilities as it relates to marketing, sales, digital strategy, customer experience, and CRM.
  • Experience with a retail-centric organization, preference for dealer or franchise-based brands.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute innovative and results-focused marketing programs and campaigns consistent with marketing best practices that result in sustainable growth.
  • Exceptional written, oral and presentation skills with advanced PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, IT, BT, Legal, Sales, and HR.
  • Analytical skills to report KPIs and identify trends and challenges, using data to drive actionable customer-focused insights.
  • A high level of attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Able to interpret business needs into marketing and sales opportunities.
  • Must be passionate about customer experience and demonstrate a willingness to stay up-to-date with an ever-changing list of marketing best practices, new technologies, and new ideas.

Computer Skills

Successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and PowerBI. Experience working in CRM tools required; prior experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Data Cloud) a plus but not required.
