Responsible for providing an advanced clinical level of quality patient care while producing radiologic images used for patient diagnosis and treatment. The responsibilities also include completing x-rays effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care possible in order to provide the most remarkable patient experience.
-Determines appropriate radiographic technique based on anatomy and patients condition to obtain quality images for radiologists; this level may provide an advanced clinical level of patient care. -Prepares patients for diagnostic procedures which may include transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and position patients. -Explains procedures to patients taking into consideration physical and emotional needs. -Records digital images as directed for radiologist interpretation. -Maintains pertinent records. -Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards. -May provide assistance to Radiology Technologist Students and new staff in performing Radiologic exams, sterile technique, and proper stocking of supplies in radiographic rooms. Education Preferred Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] Experience Rotating Schedule: Week 1 Monday: 11 a. to 7:30 pm Tuesday: 9 am to 1 pm Thursday: 11 am to 7:30 pm Week 2 Sunday: 9am to 1pm Monday: 11 am to 7:30 pm Tuesday: 9 am to 5:30 pm Brigham and Women's Physicians Organization, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
