MOTLOW STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE is accepting applications for the following position: Assistant Academic Dean Humanities & Social and Behavioral Sciences Campus: Moore County, Smyrna, or McMinnville Position number: B99567 Salary: $63,791 to $66,791 Motlow State is located in the beautiful rolling hills of middle Tennessee and has four campuses that serve students from eleven counties. Motlow positions are contingent upon funding availability and budget approval. General Function: Supports the Academic Dean in providing leadership and administrative coordination for academic programs within assigned disciplines across all campuses. Assists with curriculum oversight, faculty support, accreditation efforts, and strategic planning to ensure high-quality instruction and continuous improvement in alignment with institutional goals and regulatory standards. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree earned from a regionally accredited institution; Two (2) years academic administrative experience; One (1) year of experience full time post-secondary teaching or equivalent. Must be able to be credentialed in one of the disciplines assigned (History, Psychology, Sociology, Art, Music, Theatre, Criminal Justice, Communications, Political Science, or Geography). Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate degree earned from a regionally accredited institution; Three (3) years academic administrative experience; Two (2) years of experience full time post-secondary teaching or equivalent. Familiarity with curriculum development, assessment processes, and accreditation standards. Must be able to be credentialed in one of the disciplines assigned. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
