SUMMARY OF DUTIES

This position performs various complex tasks and is utilized to solve more difficult issues arising within the User Support Group. Troubleshoots and problem solves LAN issues. Performs tasks relating to the installation, management and maintenance of Data and Voice networks. Answer incoming calls for the User Support group on a rotating basis, solve initial inquiries from end user, and route highly complex issues to the appropriate resource.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

* Troubleshoots user support inquiries including but not limited to hardware, software, and telecommunication issues.
* Sets-up, maintains, and troubleshoots laptops and desktops.
* Monitors and reports activity within the user support group.
* Performs various changes to user accounts via Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
* Answers incoming calls to the user support group, solves initial inquiries from end users, and routes the complex inquires to the appropriate resource.
* Sets-up new users on the domain.
* Sets-up, maintains and troubleshoots printers, such as HP LaserJet, Multi-Function, Zebra xi4, and Zebra GX420, etc.
* Sets-up, maintains, and troubleshoots scanners such as Zebra TC72.
* Sets-up and troubleshoots mobile devices such as iPhone, iPad, and Android related devices.
* Updates and creates internal articles and/or documentation.
* Provides network support, as needed.
* Manages endpoints via Microsoft 365.
* Provide on-call support (rotational schedule)
* Performs other duties and tasks as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* High school equivalent diploma and 1+ years experience in a Tier I IT support role.
* Ability to troubleshoot technical problems, and stay on task until complete.
* Can provide customer support, is personable, good communication skills.
* Organizational skills.
* Experience utilizing ticketing systems like Service Now, Jira, etc., is a plus.
* Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Domain services in a Windows environment.
* Management of Microsoft Entra and M365 cloud platforms and related services.
* Knowledge of basic TCP/IP networking in a help desk support environment is a plus.
* Technical degree, and/or certifications is a plus.
* This position is bi-lingual, English and Spanish, and requires both written and spoken bi-lingual support.
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs., sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
* Visual acuity, looking at computer screens for extended periods.

* MCP with networking essentials course.
