About the Role

We're seeking an adaptable and organized Engineering Support Coordinator to become an integral part of our new product engineering group. In this role, you'll partner with leadership and collaborate across engineering teams to keep initiatives on track, remove obstacles before they slow us down, and identify opportunities to make our workflows more efficient.

Alongside your project responsibilities, you'll step in to cover for our Administrative Assistant during time away, ensuring the team continues to run smoothly without interruption. The mix of duties offers variety, skill-building opportunities, and a front-row seat to the inner workings of our daily operations. We are seeking local candidates to the New Orleans area.



Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups for multiple projects across the department.
  • Facilitate operational excellence exercises and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Track project progress in PowerPoint, Smartsheet (or similar tools), providing updates and reports to leadership.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including scheduling, agendas, and documenting action items.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement them.
  • Serve as primary backup for our Administrative Assistant during scheduled and unscheduled absences, covering core administrative functions.
  • Manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered in place of a degree.
  • Full-time, in-office position; regular on-site presence is required for effective collaboration and support.
  • Proven experience in project coordination, or related administrative role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, engineering, or product development environments is a plus.
