The Opportunity

The role of Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Sales for Core Lab Diagnostics is central to supporting both the Vice President and, as needed, the Senior Director Leadership team. This position goes beyond administrative responsibilities by providing strategic support to enhance the effectiveness of the Core Lab Organization. Acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, the executive assistant plays a key role in driving internal and external communications, facilitating productive meetings, and managing critical projects to amplify leadership capacity and drive business success.

This role requires broad and comprehensive experience, skill, and knowledge of organizational policies, practices, and procedures. Works independently on assignments related to Commercial Sales and exercises considerable discretion and independent judgment.

  • Manages the preparation processes for internal and external meetings, including the logistics, presentations, and content. Ensures meetings have structure and time is well spent.

  • Strategically manages a leader's time, looking for opportunities to reprioritize and maximize the leader's effectiveness.

  • Provides as needed support to the overall senior leadership team. Leads/coordinates special projects and initiatives as assigned.

  • Builds and maintains strategic relationships across the business to effectively learn and leverage company resources to drive business effectiveness within the department.

  • Proposes and executes continuous improvement solutions within the department to drive business effectiveness. Makes data-driven recommendations to streamline operations.

  • Prepares and initiates routine and non-routine internal/external correspondence and memoranda. Responsible for the release of a variety of complex communications and information that affect a unit of the organization.

  • Stewards candidate interviewing and new hire onboarding activities within the department.

  • Schedules appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries and coordinates related arrangements. Attends meetings, records, and distributes meeting minutes.

Who You Are:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience with 3 years administrative experience that includes providing support to senior leaders of organization required.

  • Participation in an approved accelerated development, fellowship or rotational program may be considered in lieu of experience

  • Technical Skills: Advanced computer skills (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, Concur, Workday)

  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and employ advanced reasoning skills with the ability to work with highly confidential information. And well-developed analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Fishers,IN is $66,500-123,500. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
