Position Overview

The Account Manager - Revenue Cycle (AMRC) is a business management position in which the individual is responsible for the financial health and satisfaction of the practice. The AMRC is the primary contact between the internal RCM team members and clients. AMRC works very closely with the Project Managers at eClinicalWorks implementing the integrated EMR-PM solution.

Job Functions/Responsibilities
*Responsible for evaluating the clients billing needs.
*Creating and educating customers on best practice workflow.
*Responsible for content build in the software to ensure good billing workflows.
*Coordinating all practice billing activities with provider office and eCW billing teams.
*Work closely with the Implementation team assigned to ensure proper system build and billing setup.
*Follow up with clearing house enrollment and assist the practice/CH in the capacity of a facilitator of the enrollment process.
*Responsible to set up the client's system and train them on using eClinicalWorks software based on their workflow using best practices of billing.
*Daily tracking of operational elements of physician practice:
*Encounters (open/closed)
*Claims
*Payment posting (unposted amounts)
*ERA
*Billing questions
*Enrollment review
*Clearinghouse reports
*Weekly post go-live follow-up
*Establish and maintain a working relationship with provider offices and leadership.
*Proactively analyzes the client's financial health on a monthly basis to identify reimbursement trends, patterns of denials and to develop an intimate understanding of the factors that are contributing to the clients' financial performance.
*Making workflow recommendations to both customer and internal eCW team to improve back-office operation.
*Creation of Month End Reporting and submission to provider practices.
*Research, document, and train billing teams on specific insurance mandates.
*Research and share billing information pertinent to states and insurances.
*Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience/Education Requirements
*Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
*Adheres to all company policies and mandatory compliance protocols as required by eCW
*A minimum 3+ year years of medical billing experience is required
*Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial paper and electronic claims processing is required
*Knowledge of ICD, CPT, HCPC coding, ability to read ERA/EOBs, post payments and refunds is required
*Experience in eligibility verification, familiarity with HIPAA rules is required
*Knowledge of multi-specialty billing workflows and requirements is required
*Experience with researching billing information pertinent to states and insurances mandates is required
*Experience with payer credentialing and enrollment is required
*Willing to travel 10-15%
*CPC or any certification is strongly preferred
*eCW knowledge helpful
